Community Partnerships
The Institute for Common Power expands its ability to positively impact society by partnering with various professional organizations across the nation. Our transformational strength lies in our ability to learn from the past and uncover the power that we have to facilitate enduring and innovative change. We understand that working with other organizations enables us to expand our reach as we elevate the voices of community partners interested in facilitating change.
We are honored to work with the Seattle Seahawks, the Washington Women’s Foundation, the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project, BlackPAC, Frederick County Public Schools, and so many more incredible organizations from across the country. The programming we create and offer for and with our community partners reflects varied modes of experiential learning. From workshops on the history of voting to learning tours through the South, lectures, curriculum development, and much more, our work with community partners extends and sustains our ability to reach people from diverse populations as we strive to create a more just democracy.
