Victoria Elias

Advocacy Associate

Victoria Elias, a native of Brooklyn, New York, is an advocacy associate at the Institute for Common Power. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and African American Studies from SUNY Buffalo. While at SUNY Buffalo, Victoria served as a Student Ambassador for the college, Vice President of the African American Student Organization and an Educational Opportunity Program Mentor.

Victoria completed internships for the St. Luke’s Roosevelt Community Affairs Office in New York, the Mayor of New York’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, the Roth Law Firm, and the Office of Representative Hakeem Jeffries (NY). Prior to joining Common Power, Victoria worked in and around civic and community engagement assisting with developing community engagement strategies, volunteer mobilization, and partnership development. Most recently, Victoria served as a Consultant on a City Council Campaign in Brooklyn, New York.
